Laser hair removal method is the fastest and most healthy way to get rid of unwanted hair. Unwanted hair is a problem for many people. 1 month After the application of waxing, sir etc. unwanted hair reappears.
In laser hair removal, the laser light applied to the skin selectively concentrates on the bristle, creating heat and destroying only the hair root without damaging the surrounding tissue. Thus, at the end of successive sessions, the application zone is free of hair.
The areas of unwanted hair vary by gender. For women; legs, abdomen, face and arms; for men; back, chest, neck, face and eyebrows can be counted as the most important areas.
Regardless of gender, hair can develop for different reasons. Whether or not a person has a hormonal problem is investigated with medical examinations. Medical treatment and epilation are applied together if hormonal disorder is detected. Sometimes the problem cannot be detected completely and due to structural or genetic reasons, person may experience excessive hair growth, in these cases only hair removal is applied.
In epilation processes, with their high effect and reliability, combination of laser technology and medicine shine out. The lasers, which have been used in medicine for more than 40 years, are now one of the most effective treatment options in various fields from eye surgeries to dental fillings.
Everybody, except pregnant women, can have a laser epilation. Hair color and skin type are important factors for successful laser hair removal. Although it is easier to reach the result in people with light skin, with more care and suitable laser devices, it is possible to get successful results in dark skinned people as well. Especially in face, arms, legs, armpit, bikini area, it can be applied to any part of the body.
After the evaluation of the physician in our clinic, it is decided whether laser hair removal is appropriate or not. General health status, if person has any diseases or not, drugs used, possible risks and expectations are evaluated after the application is started.
For hair removal to be successful, it is ideal for hairs to appear spot-on. Immediately after razor application, hairs can be seen 3 or 4 weeks after waxing.

In our clinic, with the ice head diode laser system, it is recommended to use suitable sunscreens, and it is possible to safely apply epilation including very dark and bronze skins, regardless of summer or winter.
In order to avoid any undesirable situation, laser protective goggles are firstly applied. The application is carried out by applying the selected laser light in accordance with the skin type and hair structure with a cooler device and transparent gel. The laser light applied to the skin with millisecond shots selectively goes to the root of the hair, concentrates there and turns into heat and destroys only the hair root.
During the laser application, the inconvenience of needle sticking / burning will be eliminated by the coolers. However, if the pain threshold is low and the observed discomfort is high, it will be useful to try to minimize the possible discomfort with the anesthetic cream and oral painkillers 45 minutes before the application. The smell of burnt hair that will be felt during application is normal and unavoidable.
The duration of the session depends on the size of the application area. The smallest region (above the lip) is 4-5 minutes, the largest area of the legs, takes an average of 60 minutes.
There is no need to take any medication after laser epilation. The redness of the skin, which is expected to disappear after a few hours, is the usual response. Dermatological creams, moisturizers and sunscreens applied in our clinic after the session are aimed to be perfect.
According to the skin type, for 1 to 2 weeks, the epilated area should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Applying appropriate sunscreens every 2-3 hours will protect the skin from the sun's harmful rays. Physical exercise should be avoided on the day of application, because sweating may cause a feeling of uneasiness in the laser epilation site. As long as the treatment has not been interrupted for a long period of time, between the sessions, it is not recommended to remove the hair via wax, rope, tweezers and so on.
In studies conducted, it has been reported that a reduction in the amount of hair up to 90% in areas of laser epilation is achieved. The efficiency and number of sessions may vary due to many types of controllable and unacceptable factors such as skin type, hair color, genetic and hormonal factors. Some people reach their desired results with a very small number of sessions, while others may increase.
