Eyebrow Aesthetic

Eyebrow lifting is one of the important aesthetic units of the face. The aesthetically ideal eyebrows show the person younger and younger, while the low and flattened eyebrows can make the person look even more tired and older. A more youthful and younger appearance can be achieved with eyebrow lifting.

Ideal eyebrow; the middle of the eyebrow, which is the highest point of the eyebrow line, should be on the vertical line passing through the outer edge of the pupil. The point where the eyebrow ends out should be 1-2 mm higher than the starting point of the eyebrow. The eyebrows should be right above the bone structure line and the eyebrows should not be too long.

Many techniques are applied to lift eyebrows. The most common applications are eyebrow sling and eyebrow lift-temporal side stretching surgery. Frontalis sling is a simple method that can be done under local anesthesia. Stitches which are put under the skin through a small incision through the hair, can hang the middle-outer part of the eyebrow in vertical position. The advantage of this method is that the person can return to daily life in a short time. The disadvantage is that the desired effect is not long lasting. In 6 months to 2 years, the eyebrows go back to their old position.
